March 7, 2024: Our paper demonstrating that the ORF3a protein encoded by the SARS virus, rescues potassium conductance in yeast lacking endogenous K+ conducting channels, was published! This project was conceived of by Joel Rosenbaum during shutdown.

July 15, 2020: Our manuscript on the role of extracellular zinc in the protection of nascent zygotes was accepted for publication at PLOS Biology. This massive project was led by former grad student Katie and current grad student Rachel. The research represented a collaboration between several scientists including the Lee Lab, the Nicotra Lab, Kate Buckley, and Dan Bain. Also, 8 undergraduate researchers authors! Congrats to all involved!
